'Review and submit' gives you the chance to review the information you've given before submitting to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

Please note: Data on this page can't be edited.

Submitting a declaration

If the message 'You may now submit your EC Sales List declaration' is displayed and you've checked that the information entered is correct, you can continue with your submission by clicking the 'Submit' button.

To change any of the data entered:

• If you've accessed 'Review & submit' from the 'Submit declaration' page, click the 'Back' button to return to the previous page where changes can be made.
• If you've accessed 'Review & submit from the 'Bulk upload' page you'll have to open your original file, make any necessary changes to the file, then save it and upload it again using 'Bulk upload'. HMRC suggest you open your file using ‘Notepad’ to avoid any loss of formatting.

Please note: Due to a security restriction on browsers it's not possible to pre-populate the file name on the ‘Bulk Upload’ screen.

If errors are identified in your declaration a message will be displayed.

If there are errors in the declaration header (for bulk uploads) or where more than 30% of the submission lines contain errors, your declaration will be rejected. You must correct all the errors identified before you can continue with your submission. Fields in error will be marked with an 'X'.

When the number of errors doesn't exceed the minimum requirements, the fields will be marked with a red warning triangle to show they are invalid. To make sure your submission is complete you should correct these errors before continuing. However, if you don't correct the errors and continue to submit, any lines marked with the warning symbol won't be accepted as part of this ECSL declaration.

Submitting corrections to a previously submitted declaration

If the message 'You may now submit your EC Sales List corrections' is displayed and you've checked that the information entered is correct, you can continue with your submission by clicking the 'Submit' button.

To change any of the data entered please click the 'Back' button to return to the previous page where changes can be made.

If errors are identified in your declaration a message will be displayed.

However, if you do not correct the errors and continue to submit, any lines marked with the warning symbol will not be accepted as part of this ECSL declaration.
