Unit of measure

Defaults to 'Litres of alcohol at 20 degrees celsius'.

Only numeric characters will be accepted in the following fields:

• Number of cases

• Number of casks

• Quantity

Stock in warehouse at beginning of period

The amounts in the fields at the beginning of the period can't be amended unless the returns are out of sequence:

• Stock in warehouse at beginning of period: The fields Number of cases, Number of casks and Quantity are populated from the closing stock on your previous period unless it was a nil return or submitted out of sequence.
• Adjustment: Insert adjustments to stock if the previous months return was incorrect.
• Reason for adjustment: If you have completed one or more of the adjustment fields you must give a reason for the adjustment.

Receipts for period

Enter all stock received from within the EU and outside of the EU including stock from other UK warehouses. Stock must be recorded to the nearest whole number or to two decimal places.

Removals during period

Enter all stock removed from your warehouse including losses and destructions. Stock must be recorded to the nearest whole number or to two decimal places.

Stock in warehouse at end of period

These fields will be populated as you complete the return and are non-editable.
