A range of internet filing enabled software and online forms are available from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and commercial software suppliers, which can be used to submit returns. You can choose the product that best suits your needs. HMRC is pleased to accept forms and returns using any of the products listed.
The table below lists commercial software products that have been successfully tested with HMRC to ensure that their forms can be submitted over the internet.

A technical pack for software developers containing documentation required to support the development of software for the online submission of returns over the internet is available. This pack is aimed at software developers only and not for employers who may wish to use the returns.

HMRC has tested all the features of this service, and will provide support to users through the Online Services Helpdesk. This will be one of the available options once you have logged on to Online Services.
