Payroll 2015/2016

The latest version of Basic PAYE Tools 15.0.15048 is now available to run payroll 2015/2016. The previous version, 14.2.14330, contained an important update to the automatic update functionality so if you are using that version you can download the latest BPT by selecting ‘check for updates’. Otherwise you will need to download the new version from https://www.gov.uk/basic-paye-tools

Error message when checking for updates

Example ‘Error 157: An error occurred while connecting to the update server. Please try again later’. The most likely reason for this is that you did not update to version 14.2.14330 and are trying to update automatically or check for updates from an earlier version.
